Tank Museum Model Expo 2017

So, last Saturday (11.02.17) we went to see modellers show at Bovington Tank Museum.

Amazing place to present all armour builds and RC tank models. Plenty of great modellers, unfortunately don’t have the names to give credit to you guys – sorry. Whenever there was option to capture club name or individuals we’ve tried to capture it. Salute you master builders! We really enjoy it.

IPMS Avon Show

So yesterday (07.08.16) we went to see modellers show in Bristol. It was my first modellers show in UK first ever for my beloved one. We really enjoy it. There was plenty of amazing builds, wargaming tables and everything that beginning modeller can imagine 🙂

Sandbags – how to…

Last weeks I was focused on building some barricades and bunker out of sand bags for my KV-1 diorama. It’s still work in progress but slowly getting there 😉 ( I always say that). When I’ve posted my WIP pictures on few FB Groups some of you guys and gals was asking how I’ve made it. So specially for you I’ve made a little how to, hope it’s easy to follow and you like it 😉

One of longest ongoing projects I have so far, after my come back to modelling because I’ve lost an idea where I want to go with it and  in meantime I’ve managed to finish this bad boy.

So here is another one of many ongoing builds. Some time ago I’ve had idea to build something different. After joining Post-Apocalyptic Modelling – Welcome To The Zone! Facebook Group few ideas popped-up in my head. 

How to… Barbed wire

Materials: 0.4mm steel thread
Tools: Cordless drill, flat nose pliers

Another idea is building in my head how to finish my HobbyBoss KV-1 756 (r) tank but I needed for it a barbed wire. Unfortunately it’s a bit pricey so I’ve decided to make my own. My wife shared with me her steel thread so I didn’t have to buy new one. Making barbed wire is not really hard thing, specially after some practice. At the beginning it may be bit time consuming but later it’s worth the effort. I’ve done some research and decided to make simple two spiked wire.

My beloved one unleashed my gadgets and tools craving part of the soul and few days ago my Airbrush came in along with little compressor. It’s time to learn new things.

Last day of holidays and the gift…

As the weather was nice we went for few days of holidays with our friends and their lovely baby girl. Amazing views, landscapes and miles of walking paths. This is summary of the place we went to.

Look at this, they also had one of the  best Fish&Chips I’ve tried
